Athlete Agent Legal Compliance

Frieser Legal regularly provides corporate counseling services to sports agents and agencies on state and federal athlete agent laws and requirements, as well as navigating licensing and regulatory requirements promulgated by professional sports Players Associations or governing bodies, such as FIBA. We advise clients on registration requirements, the registration process, and other legal implications of state and federal athlete agent laws. Moreover, we assist agencies with drafting representation agreements and addenda (e.g., to the NFLPA’s SRA, NBPA’s SPAC… etc.) that are in compliance with any relevant laws and requirements.
